About Kenmare

Kenmare, known as the 'little nest' (An Neidín in Gaelic), is a beautiful picturesque town nestled between the mountains. Kenmare joins the Ring of Kerry to the Ring of Beara and is only a short distance from the National Park so it is the perfect base for touring the beautiful south west area of Ireland.

Kenmare, renowned for its colourful buildings, award winning restaurants and charming pubs, offers many thing to see and do. Kenmare has several attractive walking routes, bicycle hire, horse riding, water sports and boat trips. We will be happy to advise you on activities in the area suitable for you.

Ring of Kerry

Ring of Beara

Attractions on route include Molly Gallivan's Cottage and Traditional Farm, Bonane Heritage Park, Glengarriff Bamboo Park, Italian Gardens on Garnish Island, Castle of Dunboy, and sandy beaches of Garnish and Allihies.
